Simbang Pamilya - A Simple Parish Invitation to Serve the Lord as One Family
In the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, in communion with the Diocese of Cubao, we continue to promote the family as the “Domestic Church” through Simbang Pamilya.
This is a parish initiative that invites families and married couples to take part in the Holy Mass in a more personal and meaningful way.
We attend the Holy Mass faithfully.
But once in a while, the Lord gives us the chance not only to receive, but to also offer.
Simbang Pamilya is that opportunity.
What Is Simbang Pamilya?
On selected Sundays, families are invited to serve during the Mass.
Nothing complicated.
Just a family saying, “Lord, we offer You our home, our marriage, our children.”
It is not about being perfect Catholics.
It is about being willing.
How Your Family May Participate
Your family may be invited to:
• Proclaim the Prayers of the Faithful
• Bring up the bread and wine during the Offertory
• Represent the families of the parish during the Eucharistic celebration
A short and simple orientation will be given by our team before the Mass. We'll give reminders for schedules also.
Our team will guide you every step of the way.
You do not need prior ministry experience.
You may serve on one scheduled Sunday. No long-term commitment required.
